Great for a baked treat then be on your way as it's very busy and not a huge amount of space! Don't let that put you of though, go try the little pies, definitely worthwhile!

Visited on a weekday afternoon, there was a short queue but very quick moving. The ginger brulee tart is excellent and I highly recommend it! Coffee wasn't great. Service was brusque & efficient, but certainly not rude. It's a tiny place and geared towards takeaway.

And their pastries are pretty fine too. Service is always quick and friendly. I wish they had more savoury options. I find it very hard to get the quiche I want. They are always sold out of it.

They are all great. Great coffee, great bread, delicious sandwiches and treats. Really friendly and relaxed.

This place has one of the worst reputations for rudeness and poor service in the area. Good produce but not worth the long queues and rudeness. The owners know and endorse their staff's behaviour so...best give it a wide berth. So many alternatives!

Again, another much hyped Sydney institution, Bourke Street Bakery lives up to it. The pastries here are consistently good, but expect massive queues on weekends. I've been buying Bourke street bread for nearly 10 years. It's probably Sydney's best and most consistent. However since early January the sourdough loaves have been quite burned - black at the bottom and the top. This makes the bread stale quickly and affects the taste (negatively). What happened guys?
