The restaurant is very friendly and full most of the time. The menu had a reasonable seletion of meas and there is are specialswhich your waiter will tell you about. we were in there in the late evening so the staff had time to talk to you. even when it got towards closing time they did not hint it was... We ate lunch outdoors at the Zinc cafe recently. The waiter was very attentive and was quick to greet us as soon as we were seated. Our group ordered various dishes and all were very happy with our selections. The prices were a little expensive for the salads which didn't have much flavor. We sat outside where the seating is... Just a quick note if you have a small child which we do and often feel intimidated in nice cafes but not here. the two young men were very accommodating and anticipated our needs with our toddler. Their vanilla milkshake was the best ever had with all natural real vanilla bean. All our food (breakfast and one dinner next day)... More

We're early eaters, and with staying at Potts Point, Zinc was a nice restaurant. The fish was fresh and the service attentive. We learned from Aussie's that it's perfectly okay to bring a bottle of wine....a nice way to save a little money when travelling for weeks on end.

Visiting Sydney for a few days and stopped by Zinc for a light lunch. You must try Bruschetta with pea puréed, ricotta cheese and mint on a sour dough bread. Light but super filling. The coffee is excellent too. Service fast. Atmosphere buzzy.

Went there a few times for coffee - which is good but no mention of fair trade, shade grown or organic. Had the cheesey-omelette one day - $15.40 for an omelette with cheese and a single slice of toast - no other ingredients, no salad, not even varnishing - tasted good (but then it's hard to make eggs taste bad...)... Good service, plenty of staff, and great coffee. One of the more reliable breakfast spots in Potts Point. The menu is a bit limited, and the prices are touching on the high side even for this part of town, but overall this is a good choice for brekkie.

Had the fish pie although I also wanted to try other plates as well. Nice atmosphere in a calmer environment.

I went to this place only once and only on my last night at Sydney. The coffee was extremely good and staff are very friendly.

It's a bit of a random place in terms of both menu and services. I had one night a fantastic dinner with lamb cutlets but all the other times I went the food was just OK. Portions are also rather small...It's mainly good for coffee and just sitting down and read a paper
