We have eaten here several times over the last few years but this is my review. It is a pleasant place to eat and fish is very good (there was only one non fish meal on the menu). Wines are fine and the service is also quite OK. It is a small restaurant and so gets full up pre-theatre. When... More

Fish at the The Rocks is small restaurant with a big, big taste! Located on a quiet street in The Rocks, this cozy and simple restaurant has a small, but diverse menu. Each entree is well thought out and unique in its own way. There is something for everyone. As well, the service is excellent. The entire staff is friendly... More

Glad we thought of Fish at the Rocks for a birthday dinner.  Classy without being pretentious. The food was excellent.  It's nice to go for dinner and get plenty to eat. It's a small restaurant and it's not in the middle of everything but all the better for a quiet dinner without hassles getting there.  My husband noted that the... More

After a previous business trip to Sydney the one place which I revisited was here. The food is fantastic and the service consistently excellent - I would recommend anyone who likes fish cooked well to visit this slightly out of town gem. The Lord Nelson pub is also a great start to the evening if you cannot book a table... More

We had been given advice to go to the Surry Hills (no 'e' in Surry) area for good restaurants. Our Concierge at the Amora Hotel advised us to go to Fish at the Rocks instead which we did. Great piece of advice as we had one of the best fish meals of our lives and as BIG foodies, my hobby... More

Two courses and a glass of wine for $45 - great value and regularly enjoyed by locals like us. The seafood is always fresh, the menu interesting, the service good. Near a lively corner in the heart of Millers Point. Must be finished by 7.45.

If you are looking for good seafood in Sydney, this is one of the places to go to. We got a seafood platter for two, which included lobster, bay bugs (like lobster, if you don't know what it is), shrimp, etc. It was more more than enough. Very nice atmosphere and good service, in addition to delicious food.

This place was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel as a good place for fish where the locals go. My husband was pleased with the barramundi, but my tuna steak was overlooked and tough.

Food was overpriced, seafood I had was dry, tasteless. Service was great, however atmosphere for the price not great.

A favourite haunt delivered again with a tasty dinner including calamari and barramundi. The main in particular of while barramundi baked deboned and stuffed with diced prawn and vegetables, red curry sauce and fried sushi rice balls is a triumph. Finished off with trio of sorbets and coffee it was a perfect end to a busy Monday. If you are... More
