A real "local" feel to this restaurant. Food great, well priced and that it was full of Thai people was testament to being pretty authentic.

Thainatown was just a few minutes walk from the Vibe Hotel where I was staying at. The prices were reasonable, the diner was simple and had a nice fuss-free vibe. I had some takeaways for dinner one night (basil chicken and tom yam soup), although the flavours were good, I found the food to be laden with MSG, and was...

Whenever we're in Sydney we HAVE to go to Thainatown. It hasn't disappointed us yet. The food is very tasty, good sized portions and inexpensive. We've taken several overseas guests there as well and they've all enjoyed it. Service is a little unfriendly but very quick. Excellent place for something quick and cheap and tasty.
Quality of the Tom Yum soup always a good indicator and this was excellent, could have devoured a second bowl! Noodles dishes huge and very good. Served in less than 5 minutes.
Tried a few of the restaurants but still find the food court in the Sussex Centre top value and taste! Its been some years since we lived in Sydney and it was great to see the food quality have remained one of the best food courts in Sydney, if not the best!
very good quality, fresh food selection.very reasonable rate
A cheap, BYO, no frills restaurant not too far from Chinatown. Service is quick but it's not a place to linger after you've eaten. Food was OK but not authentic Thai flavours, more generic Asian stir fry. Good quantity for the price. Mains are about $10 each, corkage is $2 per person
Small restaurant, but brilliant authentic food that seemed to be very popular with locals.
The food was very good and busy but it isn't a place to hang around once you have eaten; they want you out of there for the next customer please. It is cash only, no EFTPOS on site and no credit cards, be warned.
BYO and Meals from about $10-$16 including duck You Know its good to be good when you enter a Thai restaurant and there are more Thai customers than Europeans. The lady that greeted us promptly seated us on the only availble table at 6.30pm and could speak English although I think the other staff did not. If dining later would...
