Thank you Bill! Never thought scrambled eggs could taste so good. Bacon & mushrooms on the side were great. Good coffee and pleasant staff.

We tried Bills after many people raved about the Ricotta pancakes and Bills breakfasts in general. The pancakes were ok, but we have cooked better ourselves following a Neil Perry recipe. Bills breakfast was undercooked. The bacon was fatty and greasy, the sausages raw on the underside, the eggs rubbery and tasteless; the only reasonable food was the bread, mushrooms...

I am still thinking about the ricotta hotcakes with banana and honeycomb butter. OH. my. goodness. It was delicious! It's a little hard to find, but worth it!
Service, food choice and flavour great. Casual ambiance and no pressure to move on, plenty of papers to read on the weekend and offers of more coffee to keep one happy
The Bill's Cafe/Restaurants all have the same feel about them so best you just pick the location that suits you more, although having said that they're pretty much not too far from each other. I guess I prefer the one in Surry Hills. They are casual.
Made a bee line to Bills for breakfast on our latest trip to Sydney. Outstanding as always. Corn fritters very good. Ricotta pancakes outstanding. Coffee very good, service excellent. An inveterate eater out, this has to be one of my favorite places. The offerings were creative, complex and absolutely delicious. Service was prompt without being rushed and there was no rush to move on. Definitely worth a return visit or twenty! Any chance of Bill setting up in Melbourne?
Having eaten at Bill's previous establishment...this time was just boring. The cafe is bland, eggs were tasteless and swimming in butter....the iced tea tasteless. Staff were just okay, did give that air of 'doing you a favour'. In today's competitive market, time to smarten up this joint !
Not a place you will find around the harbour / circular keys main tourist area but well worth looking up , take train linefrom Central station towards Bondi Junction and alight at Kings Cross just a short walk you'll find this small & friendly cafe / restaurant.
We decided to try their famous ricotta hot cakes with banana & maple...
