Great food!! Great service, and the best of all... The prices are excellent.. We ordered a toxic pizza and it was great, but only 90 pesos = 7 usd.. And a jar of orange water 50 pesos.. The service excellent...
We were a little sick of Mexican food by the time we got to Palenque and this huge outdoor Italian restaurant in the heart of the jungle is fantastic. With live music every night the atmosphere couldn't be better. It's right next door to the ruins and is about a 15 min taxi ride from the town. Lots of young...

While staying at El Panchan on a couple of occasions I mostly ate here. The menu is extensive, but the food is just okay. I tried the pastas, the mexi food and a calzone. The calzone was probably the best. The food was mostly just bland. The service was good but pretty slow even when I was the only one...

If you stay in El Panchan, this is certainly the most upscale (although not the only) place to eat. Having read reviews, I expected more. Don Mucho's is a great local place with local and tourists enjoying great live music. Food is very good, specially the pizzas! Great break from Mexican food.
I spent a lot of pesos at Don Mucho's over a few days, and it was worth every cent. They have a huge menu where anyone can find something- pizza, pasta, soup, salad, Mexican food, etc- and it's all reasonably priced. All the dishes are very good to amazing and the platters do not leave you wanting. The live music...

We visited Don Muchos after a tiring day at Palenque, and were delighted to have such a great meal in an unexpected place. We liked it so much that we went the day after for breakfast as well. Breakfast was good too, but the absolute star was dinner. We were a large group and they were efficient in their service....

Overall great "outdoor" ambiance (under a tent/canopy with lights) so you really feel like you are eating in a civilized place but are also in a jungle. Menu selections are outstanding, prices are great, service is great, food was great, live music was great. It's a unique spot --Just go here!!!
Great atmosphere with the bands, though they go on late so if you stay nearby, it's a little noisy.
Service is appalling, moody staff, ask three times for anything you might get it, or half of it or something else!
The pizzas are edible, non of the food has any love put into it, just churned out.
Only place in...
