We had dinner with friends at Il casale. Went for the 5 course set menu. The food was OK, but surely wasn't worth the CHF 150 francs we paid for. The wine recommendations were poor and we ended up not enjoying the experience. Service was good, fast and friendly.

After the change of the cheff we wanted to test il Casale. It was rather disappointing. Completly overpriced for the service and the details that we were expecting in a restaurant of this category. The glass of champaign was Sfr. 11 and was not even 1dl. The porc was very dry and the blue potatoes were actually only one potatoe...

We followed Antonino from Wolfbach (Zurich) to Casale... and we were glad to discover a beautiful restaurant (not as loud as Cantinetta Antinori !). We were a bit neglected by the service (a bit sleepy - Verbesserungspotenzial !!) but Antonino's dishes are just THE BEST !
