I've wanted to try this restaurant for years but we live over an hour away so as we had a voucher we went for Sunday lunch. Firstly the food here is very good a fresh abd well cooked seafood. not an exciting menu but nevertheless the smoked salmon and lobster we ate we're delicious. What lets it down and therefore... A fantastic 4 course meal was held for a 60th birthday party . The food and service were excellent and we were made very welcome. Situated near the East Pier and with views to Lambay island from the first floor windows it has an easy ambience.

We had a very poor experience at King Sitric, where we ate such bad fish that wouldn't be cooked and served that way in the saddest suburbia diner. I suspect it was even frozen, served in a half folded chunk, you know, when you cook a frozen item that was frozen that way and couldnt be laid down properly. Most... More

We visited this restaurant on Saturday, April 6th and ate in the Café Bar. We ordered 3 main courses to share and all were very disappointing. The crab claws looked dry and unappetising as if they had been sitting on the plate for ages. The crab mornay had very little crab and far too much cheese and the squid was... More

This restaurant has been in Howth for a very long time and is popular. We had lunch here recently and felt that the menu choice was not as good as other visits we have had in the past. The fish s always so fresh and their prawns are really good. The Lamb dish on our visit was tough and very... More

I've been here twice. The first time, we went to the fancier restaurant upstairs. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The value was ok - not inexpensive but not over the top expensive. We went for the Sunday three course menu. The second time we went, we headed down to the pub which I personally preferred. The oysters were AMAZING.... More

We recently enjoyed dinner at The King Sitric where the seafood in particular was delightful and as fresh as could be with the restaurant overlooking the harbour. Service was very friendly and the whole experience was excellent. We recommend the house white wine which is brilliant value and a lovely wine. Apparently the restaurant is the largest single buyer of... More

We decided to visit lovely Howth and have lunch in one of the best restaurant in the are for seafood. Overall we really enjoyed, Dublin Bay prawns where exceptional, but the lobster was nice but not spectacular. Value for money, it wasnt cheap but overall if I go to Dublin I will visit again

We stayed in at the King Sitric for the Navy versus Notre Dame football game. We decided to eat in the King Sitric Restaurant one of the evenings. The restaurant overllooks Howth Harbor and is very pleasant. The hosts Joan and Aiden were fantastic and the service was impeccable. My wife had a lobster and it was cooked to perfection.... More
