Howth has a plethora of sefood restaurants, some pretentious, some just plain; Deep stands out as one of the very best. We asked the local postman for his advice and he directed us to Deep without hesitation. We shared a bowl of a sumptious Chowder and wnt to town on the grand version of theSeafood Platter. To make sure you... More

This restaurant was recommended by our concierge in Dublin. Unfortunately, the food was greasy and not very well prepared. Lunch with 3 persons was more than 60 Euro and not very good. Service was good and ambiance too. More

Can be pricey but great care in preparation with lovely fresh seafood and good service during lunch. Easy train ride from the city centre as the train stop for Howth is at the end of the piers. I had the seafood platter for 2... during lunch... came up to $35+... More

Dined here with spouse and both mothers on a recent Saturday afternoon. With no table booked in advance we had to settle for what was on offer and ended up beside the entrance to the kitchens; not ideal, but we didn't let that spoil the afternoon. With some picky eaters in our company, we had a number of alterations to... More

I ordered 1/2 dozen oysters to start which were served with a red onion vinaigrette. Out of habit, I requested Tabasco but I'll happily admit that the vinaigrette was much better. The seafood platter main was really tasty, although most of the seafood was hot and not what I expected when I ordered (I was thinking more of a platter... More

Heard friends rave about Deep in Howth and went there with great expectations, sadly dashed. First of all they told "mine host" that the restaurant was wheelchair accessible, however, two steps at the entrance made that a lie. No matter, if they want to bother wheelchair ramps are available for < €400 (if you were bothered to make an effort).... More

This restaurant is on the quayside in Howth and you can sit outside on the pavement overlooking the harbor although inside is very nice. The food is top class and the staff are very professional and knowledgeable. There is mainly fish on the menu ( I suppose you could guess that from name and location !) but I had a... More
