After a brilliant three days in Dublin centre, my wife and I visited Howth by Dart train. Great walk around the harbour wall and after walking to the Abbey Bar, the Irish Hospitality stopped dead. The Irish staff couldn't care less. I ordered a pint of Guiness and a red wine for my wife. I was told through gritted teeth... More

The turf fires give this pub a warm feel. The staff are friendly and the food was generous and hearty. More

It had only smoked fish and salmon. No shellfish that I could detect. Main course for me was chicken curry served with naan bread. Not... More

We were with a tour group that was supposed to see an Irish show and have authenic irish food. The corned beef was hard, dry and tasteless. The dessert was horrid. Even the Irish coffee was weak. The show consisted of 2 singers who were very good and a single man dancing. They were not up on any stage and... More

Three great musicians and singers but sadly only two dances from the one man. He was great but I had hoped for some female dancers as well. The evening finished too soon for us... More
