We visit Dingle ever year and always spend time at John Benny's Pub. It's huge, so we never have trouble finding a table, but it's divided into several rooms so it doesn't feel cavernous, it feels cosy. The music is always good and he frequently hosts concerts in a room upstairs. We saw John Spillane there, which was exciting. John's... More

We stayed a few nights in Dingle and ate at the John Benny's three times ( twice for dinner and once for lunch) it was that good. Every meal was first class ( we had the oysters, pork belly hot pot, fish pie) the service was outstanding especially considering how busy they were. The live music was perfect.

We stopped in and had the seafood chowder and seafood bake. It was delicious! Friendly service. It was a nice and quiet stop after a long day of seeing the sights!

We went to John Benny's during the Fungi Festival and had a really great time. The Pub was pretty cool and had a good atmosphere. I had the fish and chips and it was really good. The pub was pretty packed because there was a live performance by Lumiere which was very cool to see.

The food was so basic and the seafood chowder has so little seafood in it. Thw staff cannot cope with a busy lunch time and the barman was very rude to people who complained about the wait time for the food

We enjoyed the steak special. It was tasty, and the portion was large. But it will be the steamed mussels that my wife will recall fondly!!

I had a meal with some friends on Easter Sunday 31st March 2013. Having seen the menu outside and a recommendation from Trip Advisor 2012 I had great expectations. The fish chowder was about the best of what we had that night. The Duck Salad had practically no duck & was expensive as a starter. I had fish pie which... More

Our bed & breakfast owners told us about John Bennys. While we had good food from fish and chips to roast and soup.. We waited for the music but no music. Camilla told us Johns wife Eilish & her friend are the best group in Ireland we were sorry to miss them maybe we had the wrong night as we... More
