three of us decided to visit Spice Grill as we fancied an indian curry and had heard good reviews about it; we were not dissappointed. From the outside, it does not look anything special, and being in a small cul de sac just opposite the bus station car park it is easy to drive past without noticing it. But from... More

This a great little place! The food is amazing! The currys are not greasy, and everything tastes so fresh! Its bring your own booze which is a great bonus! The staff are really friendly, but occasionally you have to ask them for things a few times before they do it The average meal here costs us about £12 for a... More

The best Asian food in Skipton and one of the best curries I've ever had. It's the quality of the ingredients, fresh spices, the skill of the chefs and the amazing flavours that arrive on your plate. The staff are really friendly, the service is swift and the prices are far too low!! It's that good in fact that I... More

We eat at the Spice Grill once a week, and have never been dissappointed with the food or the service. The food is consistantly excellent and the service is helpful and friendly. If you go during the week and have the 5course special, it will cost you £9.95 each and you can't get better value than that.

As stated in my previous review, a very good curry. Nothing fancy about it but the quality is always decent, the service good and you never leave hungry. Starters are particularly nice (recommend the king prawn chat). We eat here fairly often and you always know what to expect. Never had a bad meal here. Service can get a little... More

Now I'm not one for going out on Valentine's Night but, the other half had booked it as a suprise-well done him, brownie points galore!! We have been here before so no messing with the menu, set meal for 2, makes life so much easier. The usual poppadums and pickle tray then onion barjis, the best ever, and chicken tikka followed... Table booked for 9pm. Arrived in good time. Table not ready. Waited 45mins before being seated. Order taken at 10pm. Waited further 30 minutes but still nothing arrived. Takeaways constantly leaving. Prioritised takeaways over in-house eating. Left restaurant. Not challenged. POOR.

No licence, take you're own drinks. Staff give you a bottle opener straight away! This may make the prices lower, but the food is definitely excellent, well cooked, tasty, hot (temp!) tender meat. A cracking little place, hidden away in side street, but well worth a visit.

Food is absolutely superb, Mon - Thurs £9.95 for a 5 course meal so much food you struggle to eat it all, cheaper for kids but just as much food. Bring your own alcohol which keeps cost down. Best curry in Skipton and most def value for money. Staff are very friendly and really helpful, cosy atmosphere. My 1st for... More
