I too was fooled by cheap sandwiches shown - what a clever trick. I expected tiny bite size snacks to be 1 euro but they cost 3-4 euro each! We stopped for a quick bite, had 4 snacks (courgette flowers, arancini). We should have gone to a restaurant as the food here was not fililng and still emptied our purse.... More

We stopped at "La cucina di sofi" for a quick bite. We took only one small bottle of water and four snacks, and we paid 20.50 euros. The prices were not shown on the products, except for a couple of cheap sandwiches, which made us think the place was not expensive. We understand that Ravello is a relatively expensive place,... Agree with other reviewers, not sure what is the category of this place. Is not a restaurant and not a cafe. Food was ok for a quick bite but overpriced for what is is.

Lots of choice of freshly cooked dishes. In both our visits we enjoyed everything we tried. Recommended.

After reading the reviews here On TA we had planned to eat dinner, only to be presented with a snack bar / deli counter setup with what appeared to be your run of the mill cold cuts, sandwiches and chilled/pre-cooked pizza, calzone.  We choose not to eat there in the end but it's worth letting people know that while it... In June 2012, I walked up the steps from Minori to Ravello and met up with my partner and travel group at the top. We did a little shopping in the beautiful town of Ravello and then needed to grab a quick lunch before heading off to catch the ferry to Capri. I had worked up an appetite from the... More

We were in Ravello in April and unfortunately we had 4 days of rain. Our ray of sunshine was visiting a small restaurant called La Cucina di Sofi daily. Aldo was a great source of information and great company. The food was fresh and we tried many of the items. All were delicious and memorable. We enjoyed the limoncello and... More

We were looking for somewhere to grab lunch in Ravello, and stumbled across this little place. A guy who works there is Italian but lived in London, so speaks great English. We enjoyed their lasagne, a sausage pasty and some local wine, and also enjoyed a chat with the owner, who told us all about her mother, who despite her... More

When abroad I always follow the locals at lunch time to see where they are drawn to and once again we were led to a little gem. Aldo Mansi runs a very tight ship and is no stranger to the appalling quality of food offered in and around some of Italy's greatest tourist attractions. Hence he has made it his... More

If you're in Ravello and need a simple, quick, tasty meal or sandwich call in here. Sofia's own brand Limoncello is to be tried too. We spent an hour in here out of the rain, enjoying the food and ambience. Take via Roma from the main square with the magnificent church on your right, walk 75 yards and you're there.
