They tell me everything served at the restaurant is grown on the property. The meal was very fresh and the view overlooking the gardens and the breathtaking coast made the experience very special. It was worth the drive up into the hills to eat there.

we loved the views, the staff, the food, and the wine. There was a lot of food and it was all delicious. I also have an allergy and they accommodating me and were so nice about it. Highly recommend!

This may be a tourist destination, but it certainly delivers. The location is incredible (on a terraced slope over Positano). The drive up is an adventure (a paved hiking trail that is 2 way). The service was warm and friendly. The food served was what my Italian mother and aunts would have put together for Sunday afternoon. The price was... More

We tried this place the first night in positano and we had a great time. There is no menu, and they just bring out cheeses, pasta, meat and then dessert. Similar to other reviews, we weren't huge fans of the meat portion, but the views and the other courses made up for it. At the end of the meal, there... More

I believe that we received a different experience than the usual visitor. We were brought here as part of our "See Amalfi Coast" group tour. Apparently the owners have a relationship with the restaurant. For 25 Euros, inclusive, we were offered unlimited wine and sparkling water, then a variety of appetizers served family style. Antipasti, bruschetta, several kinds of beans,... More

The review was great so I pushed ourselves to have one of dinner there. Because of the location is out of Positano and the streets of Positano gave us car sick before we get to the restaurant. The volume is too much if you are just 2 female party. Food is great but you have no choice to make. Yes,... More

I'll start my review by saying that a review of La Tagliata will not do it justice. My family and I spent two weeks touring Europe and had many fantastic meals. La Tagliata tops the list! It wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. The experience started when we were picked at our hotel in Positano by their courtesy shuttle.... More

We were staying in Positano so our trip to La Tagliata started with a memorable bus ride The Restaurant picks you up by motor coach, along with others staying in town, for the 20 minute trip to what feels like the highest point you can go about the town. The view from the dining area was spectacular. Right away we... More

This is a fantastic experience, the food, the location, the service - just amazing. This restaurant is on top of the cliffs so you have an unbeatable view of the whole of positano, its a small family run restaurant and the service was second to none, the food just keeps coming in abundance. My husband and I thought that the... More

This restaurant was reccomended to us by some locals - and we are so glad we took their advice! We had the hotel call and make reservations for us. Then the restaurant actually comes and picks you up in a van and brings you way high up above Positano to a town called Montepertuso. The restaurant has incredible views overlooking... More
