We recently ate here on a day trip to the Amalfi coast. Although it was a little more expensive than many of the other places to eat here, we chose it for the nice view of the beach. My husband and I shared a steamed mussels and clams plate along with an insulata mista. It was plenty of food, as... More

One of the better restaurants in Positano at beach front! The food and wine were excellent! The bruschetta was fresh and fast and the olive pasta was simply delicious. Try Lumbresco wine with the pairing-match made in heaven!

Ate here on our first night in Positano. Food was decent but busy restaurant meant not much personal attention. Recommended for nice meal on beachfront

Absolutely delicious pasta, wine, bread & minestrone. Great atmosphere and service, felt very welcomed and had an incredible meal despite lots of rain!

It was a chilly, rainy night and we were initially seated at a windy, icy cold table (the only one next to a window without a clear drop down panel). We had to ask to be moved. We then had a very average meal, followed by simply awful desserts. The location is great, the wait staff was good but the... More

We are very sorry for the chilly, rainy and windy evening, this year we are confused by an exceptional bad weather in May and people is still clothing like in a mild winter, unfortunately that night the clear drop down panel was not available because it was temporarily out of order, most probably this problem has played a negative influence... Mussels appetizer was amazing. Would not recommend the fried seafood platter - pretty much whole fish that were battered and fried, scales and heads and all. Overall solid meal. Similar to La Cambusa across the way, but thought La Cambusa was a little bit better.

Delicious south italian typical food. The minestrone soup, a very simple dish, has a home made touch that is very interesting. I also liked the eggplant polpetone. Service also very nice. I do recommend.

I had the grilled seafood platter.... it was so fresh and delicious!!! Others had the lobster ravioli and the fettuccini with wild boar. We also had salads to start and the chocolate souffles. All plates were bone dry. Everything was spectacular !! My favorite meal so far

Chef Andrea has raised the bar in Positano with this year's offerings at the Ristorante Buca di Bacco. His fish creations are sublime, from tartars to roasted whole fish, he pairs fresh herbs and sauces like no other chef in town. Also delicious are the antipasti and pastas, and dessert is not to be missed. A bit more expensive, but... More

We did not like this restaurant. It was ok, not great and I do not think it's worth the price. One person in our party got the spaghetti with meatballs and they were the blandest meatballs I have tasted. The seafood was fresh but it was not one of the better meals we've had in Italy. It does have a... More

We like reviews that can teach to us good suggestions but forgive me if we do not see what we can learn from this one. If the problem were the blandest and tasteless spaghetti with meatballs I would like to ask what it was the problem? In this case it is always possible to ask and add for more seasoning... More
