We had a large lunch so wanted something casual within walking distance of Villa d'este for dinner. Nice choice. 10 minute walk from hotel.
First, you will be astonished with the location inside the ordinary Albergo, second, you will meet there the tourist cream-of-the-cream dinning there, third, do not be shay to taste the local wines here
We stayed at the hotel that this restaurant is part of and the restaurant is much better than the hotel. The service we received was excellent and the food was too, however I did have a grumble when I ordered my main course and was then told it wasn't available. THe menu is not vast so it was a little... More
The restaurant is in a loggia overlooking the garden, and is very well appointed. The meal was very nicely presented, tasty, and the waiting staff very attentive. I had the marinated salmon with avocado to start, which was a large portion and with the home made bread and house white wine was perfect. To follow I had the chicken with... More
We had an excellent meal in a lovely atmosphere.very helpful staff and would recommend it.it was nicely done out and open sides which looked onto the gardens of the hotel which it was in.
After going to all the tourist places we decided to find a local place like cheers. Our concierge directed us to this warm friendly very decent food restaurant. We where treated by the owner and his son and the food was simply very good. I highly recommend this place while the views are non existent the food speaks for itself.

My bf and I were craving Bolognese pasta and it was not on the menu we asked if they could make it for us. They were more than happy to accommodate our special request. It's a must try if... More
Very simple and friendly restaurant operated by a family with their Italian Cuban chef. The service is personalized and good. The food is not fancy but very delicious.
WE also had a wonderful meal and we treated like royalty. We were able to visit the Crotto Wine cellar and we had a wonderful meal. We will be back again!

However the food was of average quality and overpriced. We had two entrees - minestrone soup and pasta - for 65 euro excluding drinks. The soup, although made with fresh vegetables, was watery and...
