The Charlton Arms Chilwell is the ideal place to go for Sunday lunch, plenty of car parking space, clean and comfortably furnished, food was very good and the service was efficient and served by pleasant staff, we have returned several times so not a one off review.

Good atmosphere, plenty of friendly faces. Fair enough only pub grub but much better than others in the area.

Why anybody would go to the Charlton Arms is beyond me. The Cadland across the road is far better, both for atmosphere and quality of food. The Charlton Arms is okay if you prefer a slightly rougher pub.

Fantastic night, greeted behind the bar by the landlord Ben who had an extremely flamboyant shirt on, Great range of real Ales on offer including Castle Rocks Harvest Pale which is a very nice pint kept exceptionally well. Excellent meal in comfortable surroundings. Recently refurbished, the decor is delightful and the staff are extremely attentive to all your needs.
