We had passed this restaurant a few times and when a couple of friends gave positive comments thought we would give it try for a quick meal out. Maybe we went on a off day but it was not a good experience. First the table we were directed to had not been cleared, which is ok but when it was,... More

Three of us dined here on Saturday night. The food (scallop salad, pulled pork, smoked trout, duck breast, pea risotto, smoked haddock risotto and the cheesecake) was fantastic. Very cosy atmosphere, friendly service and left feeling very happy indeed :) wouldn't hesitate to recomend.

Been here twice now, happy to go back a third time. the place is a bit odd, like a workshop in some ways but the food can't be faulted. Maybe a wee bit pricey but a whole heap better than Nando's or Frankie and Bennies. Their pizzas are great. BYO.

Have had a couple of relaxing afternoons in this Diner; very friendly & helpful staff. Their scones & brownies are just yummy! This Diner is really handy if visiting the local Vue cinema, & you need either a lite bite, or proper meal pre/post film. The menu is really varied & has several very tempting dishes that I can't wait... More

Had a fabulous lunch here the other day with my friend & her 3 year old. It's very cosy inside, considering it looks like a bus shelter from the outside. We both had the smoked haddock risotto which was wonderfully creamy and topped with a perfectly cooked poached egg. We followed that with the peach, pineapple and apricot crumble served... More

Gabe's restuarant is a lovely cozy restuarant with gorgeous food. We've mostly had the breakfast food and it has always been fantastic. Everything is freshly made within the restuarant and the staff is always very friendly. We recently dined there while the chef was all alone, acting as the wait staff and cashier! However, she was brilliant, helpful and friendly.... More

I had dinner at Gabe's Diner on recommendation from several people whom all bragged about it. It lived up to it's excellent reputation -- my friend and I had a wonderful experience. From starter to dessert, truly scrumptious, and I have eaten at many nice restaurants around the world. I have only heard fantastic words about Gabe's so was very... More

This is a very small restaurant but has a very friendly and relaxed feel. The menu is varied and the food is always well prepared. It's not cheap but the quality of food makes it worthwhile. Alcohol is not available but you can bring your own for a nominal fee. My only complaint is that if you are sat by... More

What a pleasant surprise. A group of us went ice skating at the Peak Leisure centre nearby. 9 of us came down to Stirling from Lochearnhead and were looking for a snack. We were pressed for time so parked and wandered into Gabe's Diner because it was near where we needed to be. We were expecting a low budget fast... More

I have been to this restaurant three times and took some friends on my recommendation. The main courses were excellent including two gluten free dishes, including fish and chips. The gluten free version of the pear and ginger crumble with vanilla pod custard was not available but the chef offered to make a gluten free alternative crumble if we were... More
