On arrival we were shown to our seats, no pleasant smile orwelcome :( Very simple plain menu, the offer of sizzle and sip menu was different to that of the offer menu displayed in the hotel room - you had a choice of pasta or pork! Main menu was also restricted - champ croquettes but no mash or champ -... More

Had a large group booking over the May bank holiday weekend. Pro's: Nice atmosphere/location Good menu with reasonable prices Excellent quality of food, but portions just right (all empty plates returned!) Staff flexible, as we needed to add seats onto our table. Con's: Service was very slow, after ordering Seemed to be enough staff, but not very attentive Had to... More

Following an 'Away day' held in the Culloden Hotel's Business Centre a small group of attending delegates finished our day with an enjoyable meal at the Cultra Inn. We were weary but elated at all the work which had been successfully achieved during our day, and the meal at this lovely gate lodge was a perfect ending. We chose from... More

Stayed a Culloden for three nights, each night we went to Cultra Inn, Friday and Saturday night the menu had something for all tastes and all pockets. We had a fantastic meal both nights, great service and really enjoyed our evenings there. Unfortunately Sunday night we were really disappointed, the menu was replaced by a A4 sheet of paper with... Recently redeemed a Living Social voucher for Fish & Chips plus wine for two. The surroundings and ambiance of the Cultra Inn cannot be beaten.. especially when the big log fire is lit. The staff are extremely pleasant and attentive and the food was excellent! This is not the first time I've eaten here and I've yet to have a... More

Visited restaurant whilst staying at the Culloden Hotel, decent experience and fairly decent value. Menu choice was a little limited and service was so-so.

Congratulations Cultra Inn on "new special" of venison sausages (served with usual perfection by Karen). We upgraded to include dessert and would definitely recommend this. No matter how busy the Inn is, service is always excellent.

Just called into the Cultra Inn (in the Grounds of the Culloden Hotel) for some Prosecco prior to joining other family members for a surprise birthday celebration. It has been some time since we were last in there, and the place has changed quite a bit. But still the same good choices of drinks and service. As we were dining... More
