Loved the feel of the relaxed atmoshpere at the front of the restaurant and the more formal feel to the back. The food was very good, especially the soup.
Looking at the website i was expecting a fantasmagorical feast with layers and layers of taste and flavour.
Mrs Mustard, I was sadly disappointed to say the least,

Easily the best steakhouse in Durham, Hide is well decorated and awash with friendly staff members. Me and my girlfriend may the most of the 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £25 deal which was an absolute bargain. The only fault of this restaurant is the chips. One can either choose between ridiculously skinny chips a la Mcdonald's...

Stylish, staff are friendly and well organised. The food is OK, not out out of this world. The food is consistant, wide choice on menu. Quite nice.

Definetly the best food in Durham, good menu range as well as very nice cocktails! Really good service, Valentine's menu was excellent, have been a few times and consistently enjoyed it. Definetly the place to eat in Durham. Not cheap but worth the money
This place is ok, I've been on several occassions, but I really wouldnt rant about it. The last time I went it was very busy and but the staff were very helpful and made space for us, on a night when the University combined with a festival to make Durham the busiest place in the world. We were happy with...

Small portions with a quite expensive price tag. Not much choice for vegetarians. Food OK
