Description: Mallam���s at the Quay restaurant on the waterfront in Weymouth enjoys long-time status as one of this town���s favourite eateries. The intimate atmosphere in the Grade II listed building with its beams and stone walls is beautifully complemented by white linen, dark wood and gleaming crystal. Fresh, local, seasonal produce is transformed into modern European dishes cooked to order. Since opening the restaurant over twenty years ago, the owners of Mallam���s have set out to provide simply good food and that is on-going to this day. The wine list is an ever-evolving work of art with newly-discovered labels coming on-stream all the time. If you fall in love with the place, a sweet harbour-view holiday flat upstairs lets you stay the night.

If you want to push the boat out and treat yourself to a special meal then Mallams is the place to go. You certainly get what you pay for. A return visit. Owners very welcoming. Great atmosphere- unhurried dining experience. Food very good- fresh and local. Punchy price. Probably my favourite restaurant in Weymouth. Even when full the service is efficient and friendly. I had pasta sheets with wild mushrooms and Chorizo in a mild curry sauce - a good portion, but it was so nice I could have eaten it again. Me and my daughter came on Saturday night, this is my 3rd time here and i just love it, when arranging to go out with my daughter, she said " Mum we must go to Mallams" the food is faultless, Emma, one of the waitresses is second to none.
