There was approximately 35 of us who walked to the Spice ship from the Seaview caravan park following a great day at a youngsters football tournament. The pub was already busy & we were advised of approx 1 hour wait. The menu choice tempted us to stay so having purchased soft and alcoholic drinks we all went outside where the... More

The Spice Ship at Weymouth has been one of my family's favourite holiday pubs for several years, and we go out of our way for a visit. Returning from a holiday in France, we were trapped on the M26 and spent the night in a motel. The following morning, a Sunday, we decided to head for the Spice Ship, despite... More

We were really looking forward to a meal to celebrate my daughters engagement and decided on the Spice Ship as it appeared to serve good honest food. What a mistake!! When we arrived in the restaurant at 7.45 on a Friday night we expected to see all tables full of diners indulging in good home cooked food. The reality was... More

Saying the lamb was overcooked was one of only 3 things I could fault the Spiceship for, We came here for my boyfriends birthday meal on a sunday and I was a bit worse for wear! Service was fast and friendly. My Boyfriend has the spiceship chicken burger, saying it was he best burger he had ever had, his brother... More

I've eaten here 2 or 3 times before and the food has always been excellent and reasonably priced. The service can be a little slow, but this is because everything is cooked from scratch. the kitchen is visible from the dining room, so one can watch the food being prepared and cooked!! As always Wendy made us feel welcome, thoroughly... More

We popped in here for a lunchtime bite to eat. The menu seemed competitively priced and there was plenty of choice; The service and food were both very good so we would recommend.

Came for carvery while holidaying in Weymouth. The staff were very friendly and provided good service. No que at the carvery which was nice. The meat portions were generous and the veg etc was very nice. The pudding was also delicious. Nice little garden for the kids to run around, although the playing apparatus could have been a little better... More

Been to this pub several times and overall a brilliant pub. Staff very friendly and kitchen looked very clean. Our food was served in nice time and very enjoyable. A friend had a lamb burger which was abit dry but lasagne never failed to impress. Also steak and ale pie looked and tasted fantastic. Would definatly recommend.
