We came here for my wife's birthday on 19th May. I had booked the day before and the chap kindly said he would decorate the table. It was only a coupel of balloons but still thoughtful. They sell Ringwood beer which I am not a huge fan off but minor matter. The staff were great and I smuggled in a... More

My family and I visited The Nothe Tavern in April for Sunday lunch. Bar staff were very friendly. The meal was great and the child's meal of fish pie was enormous, service was good and we had a nice afternoon, the only thing I would say, "is it needs a bit of updating but all in all it was good... I can't rave enough about this place. The food is great especially the Sunday Carvery. No lengthy waits because the staff are on it no matter how busy. It's about £10 ....i'm not sure and I don't mind because it's the best in Weymouth I think.

I've been coming here for a few years and really enjoy it. I prefer the Sunday roast to the normal menu although the food off the menu is good as well. Puddings are great and you get a lot for your money compared to most pubs. I definitely recommend lemon meringue pie. Staff are always very friendly and polite. Service... More

The food was excellent although the service was poor at times. There appeared to be lots of regulars( not surprising given the quality of the food) who received preferential treatment. This left a bad taste !

The Nothe Tavern has always been a favorite of my parents LONG before I was even born (20 years ago) and somehow the likeness passed down to me. The food is lovely and the waitresses of the bar and food area are always happy and chatty. I had a birthday party for my 18th reserved here, and turned up to... More

Wow just like mum used to make! This is Sunday lunch at it`s very best for so many reasons, the meat is sooo tender, the amount of choice and the quality of the veg is great and you even get to help yourself to pigs in blankets and crackling! Almost afraid to write about this pub in case it get... More

Lovely service from staff that couldn't do enough to give us a good experience. the food was lush, (except for the dodgy parsnips) and the portions generous. The décor could do with a bit of modernising, but overall it was a nice Sunday meal out!

Recently me and my family enjoyed a weekend visit to Weymouth, we have visited the Tavern a few times now and have only good things to say. The staff are always lovely, happy and attentive, the food is fresh and brilliant and there is always a wonderful atmosphere. They also allow dogs into the bar area which is brilliant for... More
