Called in on a whim early on Bank holiday Monday evening to be greeted by a smiling welcome and a friendly chat. The menu and specials gave a great choice but whatever you go for be sure to get a bowl of excellent chips. We'll definitely be back after a lovely filling meal. More

Met up with family in this little village pub. Great food and very friendly service with olives and crisps on arrival. Child friendly and catered for a one year-old very well. Definitely will return. More

We visited twice during our stay at nearby Cotherstone. Both meals were excellent - lots of local produce imaginatively used in a range of dishes.
