We have been regular visitors to Syston Fruit Farm over the years and have enjoyed many an afternoon picking fruit and enjoying a nice coffee and cake... This has not changed. However we booked for Sunday Lunch to celebrate after competing in a local triathlon. Having booked the table for 1:15pm we were looking forward to tucking into a lovely... More

We live locally so are lucky enough to be able to pop in regularly - which we do often! The views of the surrounding rolling hills are stunning and there is an attractive rustic wooden play park to keep children amused. Breakfast is always lovely but we have also enjoyed lunch as well as afternoon tea and cake. I always... More

What a rare pleasure to find a farm restaurant offering authentic country cooking. I don't mean just bangers and mash but Game soup or Pheasant casserole made with ingredients sourced from the very farm that the place occupies. The surroundings are clean, bright and airy with seats outside if it ever warms up. I found the service polite and timely,... More

we used to frequent the , however after our last visit I dont think we will return in a hurry. I boast local veg, but there does seem to be a lack of it when in the blackboard it states winter veg.....I was expecting a warm hearty stew especially at £8,10 p but sadly not just peas and carrots on... Everything is always described as local and free range but in truth it always taste fairly good but quite pricy for what you actually get. Slow service but they do warn you that everything is cooked to order so cant really complain

Nice coffee! Takes an age to get attention but if you are not in a hurry it is worthwhile. Lovely scenery. Waiters could smile a bit more but they are very busy.

This is our local farm shop and cafe / restaurant. There is a good selection of local fresh produce and also speciality foods. The cafe / restaurant serves a good selection of snacks and main meals. We really love the coffee which we have found to be the best in the area. The cake selection could be better.

This is very local to us and offers a perfect opportunity to stock up on your favourite soft fruits throughout the summer months. There are fruits for everyone ranging from gooseberries, blackcurrants, strawberries, raspberries - the list goes on. The restaurant is lovely - fresh home produced food which is really delicious. The shop sells tasty speciality foods, plus fresh... More

We have bought produce here and found the prices to be very reasonable. Nice polite staff and helpful. There is a cafe as well, so an added bonus.
