Because the meat is left under hot lamps, the meat is very dried out, no succulent, rare beef or lamb here! Very disappointing.

We visited the Memphis belle yesterday with family and found the whole experience a huge success! The pub seemed very busy, on the other hand the service was quick and efficient. The staff were well presented and polite and friendly. Me and my family all had the Carvery which looked fresh and well presented great selection of meat along with...

Reading the other reviews I think it is always wise to consider the price point and market a place is serving. We eat out around this area weekly and the Memphis is the best about. Admittedly we eat at around 4-6pm, so the carvery, if any of the party choose it, is fresh. The menu based food has always been...

We went to the Belle a number of times and was always good, but yesterday was very poor.Waiting in the holding area to be seen to was'nt good, seemed like ages before we were seen to.
The carvery was luke warm and had to be blasted in the microwave,a shame as it used to be a very pleasant experience.
Will leave it...

I have been going here regularly ever since it opened and lately it has been disappointing. Took my Mum there for her birthday on Sunday. The staff are not warm and certainly don't make you feel welcome. The food was distinctly average. Barely warm lamb shank with too much garlic, a patty of potato and a lump of tepid broccoli...

Visited for dinner with wife and son. The place is always very smart and tables well presented. Have eaten from menu before but opted for carvery this time and it was excellent. Food is always well prepared and of a better quality well worth the £ or so more than other pub-grub places!
Lots of families in there, but of...

Booked a family meal several days in advance of my birthday and invited friends to join me to celebrate.Had been here several times before and was always impressed with both quality of service and the food. However on this occasion we were all very disappointed both in the service which I can only describe as" uncaring"---throughout the meal we were never...

The service was absolutely terrible, staff are very unprofessional. Menu is rubbish, overall not a very nice place. Didn't feel welcome as the staff were very unfriendly! Way too expensive.
We used to love the Memphis Belle, however over the last few months we have been incresingly disappointed. Our last visit on Sunday was a miserable experience we were told there was a 45 minute wait when we arrived, we actually waited an hour and 15 minutes. Families who arrived after us were seated before us as we were over...

I attended a private party in a function room but stopped for a look around and a beer first. The first thing you notice is this is this is a big place and it was very busy. The beer was a little dearer than normal... £3.10 for a pint of cider. I can here you all howling with laughter in...
