Looked up some restaurants on here before we went to Skegness for the Bank Holiday weekend. Well worth hunting this place out as it's a gem! Lovely food in a lovely pub. Well worth the prices and will definitely visit again if we are ever in the area.

Absolutely superb food in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. There is a large conservatory dining room but also smaller rooms are available near the lovely fire. Serves good Batemans beer at reasonable prices. Try and go for the Early Bird Tea before 7pm a better value option. Every time I have eaten here it is consistently good.

Often very busy, which can reflect in waiting times. Excellent presentation, always delicious. We don't like sitting in the conservatory, which can echo, there is an intimate dining room at the back that is worth asking for. Remains very popular for a 'better than a pub meal' dining experience.
