Love the modern feel of this restaurant, menu and food presentation. The way they present an English classic, fish and chips, and present it in a modern way with metal baskets lined with customized fish and chips paper with headlines printed on it about fishing (think baking paper meant to look like a newspaper) was very creative! The hostess was... More

I found this restaurant by reading the reveiws on trip advisor and I am very surprised. The Restaurant is run by a couple of Friends living their dream. There in lies the problem it is their dream! The food is their interpretation and I would be surprised if the chef has any formal qualifications. It seems he is a keen... More

The white chocolate desert was to die for! The rest of the meal was very impressive. Imaginative menu with great ingredients. The mussels were some of the best I've had. The service was also good, and genuine. This restaurant shows how all the chains and franchises can never hope to compete with this type of experience. Brilliant.

Found this place on Trip Advisor. It lived up to its reviews. Warm welcome at lunchtime, excellent fish and chips and super dessert. Its run by two people who are making the effort to make the business a success. Only regret is that we missed the opportunity to use the chalks to produce some drawings which we could have swapped... Was visiting the area whilst on a short holiday, had been recommended by a local. The service was spot on and the Fish & Chips were simply excellent. Good Value for money and I shall return again - next time I am down that way. My tummy is rumbling just at the thought of it!

This was a TripAdvisor find. I was looking for decent food and Off Quay surpassed the mark. A great pea and ham soup was followed by a Caribbean spiced chicken which was a deliciously moist, tasty and spiced piece of breast. The sweet potato chips were mouth watering. Presentation was first class, and with all good establishments, the bread was... More
