doing some market research for work on coffee/tea market in Norway listed this concept and company for report and also had a Norwegian friend suggestion to try coffee there, so maybe I had over-expectations. being to similar ones in Italy - it make you feel the passion and taste of coffee that owner/waiter serves the coffee as their last thing... Buy the beans--you can never go back. Of course you can also have a great cup of joe there on the spot as well.

Make no mistake, this is a place that has a sole focus on coffee.....and I could not be more grateful for that fact after tasting some pretty horrendous coffee elsewhere in Oslo. If you want a real coffee, made the right way and served the right way, this is your place. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful... More

No food, no fancy interior, no distractions, simply just fantastic coffee. Worth a detour if you care about the quality of your caffeine intake.

Tim Wendelboe have the best coffee in Oslo without a doubt. They also sell their own coffee, and the staff is great when it comes to recommendations.

Good coffee yeah... But really, staying in queue for a rip off coffee to go served by arrogant and condescending staff... No way! Also the owner brings his own coffee when he goes to restaurant... Madness! Plenty of great coffee shops in Oslo, not that one ever again!

Only coffee - no food, no tea not hot chocolate, no wireless Internet... No distractions. They roast the coffee on the premises, import their own beans, work directly with farmers to improve quality, etc, etc, etc and the service behind the bar is great. The taste of the coffees is something else: fresh, fruity, sweet, full - anything but the... More

TW is a great place to grab coffee. They roast to express coffee at its best. Ethically sourced, superb quality, if you want a great coffee experience in Oslo, this is one of the places not to miss.

The best coffee anywhere in the world! The baristas among the best in Norway. The design worth a visit alone. Only coffee is served, though. If you're hungry, pop around the corner to the focaccieria connected to the restaurant Villa Paradiso.

......but it is the best coffee you can find, maybe the best in Europe. By the way: they do not serve food.
