Friendly service. Excellent sushi. Didn't have Tuna ??? How is it that a sushi restaurant doesn't have Tuna, not Toro, no Tuna. Other than that, everything was good. Very limited wines. Very casual.

Fuji has been ran by the same people at least past 10 years. Quality has always remained high. Place is a bit pricey and menu is limited compared to fancy fancy rolls like in States. There is a 'winther Fuji' located in Metropole Shopping Mall and 'summer fuji' located at close to Jimmy'z.

As part of our "around the world in 90 days trip"(see my blog:www.toscanoworldtrip.blogspot.com) we stayed in Monte Carlo. Fuji is right smack in the middle of Monte Carlo-a close walk from anywhere. It is actually in the Metropole Mall, an upscale (most everything is in Monte Carlo) shopping mall. The meal is not cheap (nothing in Monaco is) but go... More

I visited the restaurant as it had received pretty good reviews on this site however, I'm sad to admit that this must be the worst sushi I've ever tasted (and I'm a sushi lover). Found bones in the appertizer (fish and seawees thing), the scallops were not fresh, the avocado and cucumber California roll tasted only like wasabi (and missed... More

As I mentioned in my review of Yoshi, if you want a real Japanese experience in terms of cuisine, service and atmosphere, go to Fuji. The restaurant has 2 locations, the main one at the Metropole and, in the summer season, dinner is served in the Sporting d'Ete while lunch remains at the Metropole. The menu is similar for lunch... The food was fabulous and the chef treated us like family....very charming and excellence personified. We sat at the tepanyaki bar and enjoyed the freshly cooked fresh food....

Fuji has two locations, "Gallerie du Métropole" year round and the more sophisticated Summer Sporting Avenue Princesse Grace during summer months only. With a low priced lunch menu at the Gallerie" and luxury dining at Sporting it offers the best of both options. The Kodera family, father, mother and two sons, runs this place very energetically and to perfection. Father... More
