top class Italian/Cypriot restaurant with a very wide menu - sometimes hard to choose! We eat in Metaxas every time we visit Paphos and are welcomed by Stephan the chef and Marcio the Maitre D. From pasta dishes, to lamb shank, pork, fish and the house special - steak - the food is top quality. Highly recommended!

Loved the lunch today which accommodated gluten free and dairy free dietary requirements. Just found out that they will make gluten free pizza and pasta by request so I'll be back. Luxury! Will have to return to review the pizza!!

This was the nearest restaurant to our hotel. It offered gluten free pasta and the waiter went out of his way to make sure I always had gluten free bread to eat. Been to Paphos 8 times but this was our first time at Metaxas after it was recommended by a friend. Not disappointed, went back again the night before we went home on 3rd May. It is definitely on our list for next time. As well as wonderful food, you get treated like royalty.

We always visit Metaxas for the last 8 years, food is always excellent and service the staff always remember us. Bonus if you go before 7.00pm in the evening and pay cash you get 15% discount.

We ate here 4 nights out of the 7 that we stayed and were never disappointed. Great food, lovley staff, excellent service and reasonably priced. Would definatley recommend.

Really great food in a well presented and clearly cared for restaurant. Chose to eat there on our last night after a good meal earlier in the week.
