We decided to go here after the indian we always went to was closed. We wish we'd been to Jayanta in the first place! Generous portions of tasty food, friendly staff and a real place to watch the world go by.

I have eaten here a number of times now and i can not fault the food and service. If you like authentic Indian food and you are in Paphos then eat here and have a fantastic evening.
We visited the Jayanta Indian Restaurant during our holiday in Paphos in May 2013. We like to eat early so we were the first guests in the restaurant. We were made very welcome by the owner and didn't feel at all awkward about being the only people in the place. The level of service was judged just right - chatty...

Second year in Cyprus, loved this restaurant so much last year, had to go back this year and wasn't Disappointed. Food excellent, staff very friendly. Would recommend to everyone to try this wonderful restaurant.
This restaurant is quite hidden away so you may need to try a little harder to find it but it is definitely worth it, delicious tasty curry, not too hot so maybe go for something a bit more daring than usual, but the flavours were amazing, staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, service was excellent and food very reasonably priced....

We have been...

We had the set menu , two different starters and we both had vegetable danszak for main. The owner offered to arrange the curry to suit our palate, it was delicious.complementary glass of wine and to finish, we had sweet mini pancake type desert. The owner was very welcoming.
My partner, my parents and myself visited this restaurant on our stay in Paphos recently. We had passed by the night before and noticed it was quite busy (we always take that as a good sign). We weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. My partner and I chose the set menu: a starter, curry and dessert...

Great food, freshly cooked & not swimming in grease. Flavoursome, fresh ingredients, had a vindaloo which was a good heat (made my other half sweat a bit, but he thoroughly enjoyed the curry - they'll happily make it even hotter if you want).
This is one of the places we love to go especially winter time. the staff is so friendly and the food yummy. We certainly visit it a lot this year again.
