Atmosphere is good: pleasant cellar with warm decoration. Enough room for big dinner party, separated tables for more privacy. Service is minimum. Expect nothing more than average politeness. Not especially fast. Food is rather plain. Meat is as usual overcooked and not of the best quality. Sauces are mostly processed, especially salad sauces. “Worth a visit if you like meat and old world charm”

A charming 'old world' basement restaurant. The menu was limited, but the steak was high quality and well cooked. Vegetables (broccoli and carrots) were OK but hardly inspiring (think British Sunday lunch). What did make our night was the lady owner; very charming and accommodating, making good recommendations on wines to complement our steaks, and even on a white port... More

“Nice cellar restaurant”

Very nice restaurant down in the cellar, which give it is a special atmosphere. The staff is friendly and their beefsteaks are really tasty. The prices are rather high, but meet the quality. More

Dark cellar, really expensive, only salmon (no other fish 500 m from the seaside), soup 7:50€ !!, kitchen is not the quickest. More

The best place for meat eats in Kokkola. A nice wine list, and an excellent service. A good place for a romantic dinner for two but also for family gatherings. The bar upstairs is a nice place to hang out before and after dinner. More
