Our first night in Sweden and I had booked a table here several weeks prior. No idea what to expect but was relying on fellow Tripadvisors. The meal was awesome. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Mussels in a Mallo broth, mushroom toast with puréed artichoke, anchovy bruschetta, smoked kipper toasts, and chicken liver pâté with risky...

Have just visited this trendy top class restaurant with my girlfriend, we had the "Stora resa", a 9 course array of exciting dishes, flavours all combined very well with a well thought out wine package. Brilliant from start to finish and highly recommended.
Björns Bar is a place I keep returning to. It is housed in the cellar of celebrated restaurnat Kock och Vin in a nice part of Gothenburg.
The concept is quite ease to grasp - a limited menu (due to a limited size kitchen) based in local and seasonal produce. There is an a la carte menu but 9 times...

We had a tasting menu which comprised of a series of amuse bouches followed by four larger plates. food was very interesting and beautifully cooked and presented. Highlights were the reindeer, cooked perfectly rare and served on a lovely rich sauce with celeriac and spruce - and the excellent pudding around a theme of berries. Wine was lovely and matched...

excellent food with local products, swedish touch. Service etc. all as it must be for the "Etoile de Michelin". Strongly recommended for business and couples. Reservations needed.

All the appreciation visible on Restaurant guide are fully in compliance
with the food scenario that...

My husband and I went here on the recommendation of the staff at another nice restaurant, Avalon. We were not disappointed! The food was upscale, delicious, and fun. Wine pairings were great, and when one of the courses came with a beer made by the restaurant which I did not like, the waiter pleasantly replaced it with a Vouvray instead....

I had a business dinner in the highly acclaimed restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food is very good but a bit too "technical" for my personal taste. The wine list on its own is well worth a visit. The Sommelier is highly engaged and energetic. However the restaurant is understaffed for its ambitions.
Excellent food in a well-composed tasting menu. Classic decor, appropriate pricing. The rubarb dessert was divine, as were the raw north sea shrimps. Small niggle: Slightly understaffed - we had to remind our waiter a few times to refill our wine glasses.
Bill for 3 adults for the 7 course tasting menu, 2 bottles of wine & 1 a la...
