We had a nice dinner sitting at the bar here. The people were friendly, and the food was quite good. A nice spot to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Stockholdm

We really enjoyed both the meatballs and steak here. The delicious meatballs were accompanied by sinfully good mashed potatoes and the steak was perfectly cooked and flavoured and accompanied by an excellent bernaise, though it already had an excellent jus - plus fries and a salad. We had a crayfish toast starter which was very average and the herring one...

We found this during our trip to Stockholm on our Trip Advisor app, was looking for somewhere central, Swedish & reasonably priced.
We both had meatballs served with lingonberry sauce & pickled cucumber, was very tasty! Was one of the cheapest menu options at around £16 per main course. Nice bread basket to start. Shared a tasty chocolate mousse brownie...

The menu offers classical swedish dishes and you can see the preparation in the kitchen through a large glass window.
The tables are tiny and no more than 4 people can sit. Most seats are placed around the counter.
No reservations, but the opening hours are long enough to guarantee seating.
The location is perfect for a walk after dinner...

The menu has been more or less the same for many many years but they do it very well. Swedish traditional food with some french classics in this small setting. Always popular at lunch and for dinner.
When a concierge recommends a restaurant, I am usually quite sceptical about what to expect, but really shouldn't have worried, given that the guy at the front desk at the Nobis Hotel said he regularly ate this tiny, relaxed and wonderful establishment.
There is nothing not to like about this place - efficient, friendly service, coupled with a very good...

Small cosy set-up with mostly bar seating which was great when it comes to eating for one. I came for lunch and had the grilled steak tartare which was good. The locals appeared to favor meatballs which I will come back for. It's generally very busy but service is efficient. It's a very authentic Swedish dining place - and the...

It's like a timewarp coming here. Not only the interiour and the waiters uniforms, but also the food is comforting Swedish classics. They really handle the traditional food well. Try the meatballs or the "Biff Rydberg".
I have to say the Swedish don't really have the concept of customer service, so this place isn't any worse than anywhere else, but it certainly wasn't any better. They were quiet rude to us when we got there, we sat at the bar, where they ignored us for 10 mins (again nothing unusual in restaurants) then when we did...

Wanted to have Swedish meatballs during a business trip to Stockholm. Found this place from Trip Advisor & it was easy to find. The restaurant is small'ish & popular and you cannot make a reservation but I had no problem getting a seat around the bar (I was on my own - may not be the case if there are...
