There are few restaurants in Stockholm that can compete for the view and location of the Verandan. The food and service is excellent and worth the price.

The Grand Veranda is a very good location for business lunches with nice atmosphere, good location and a good menue. If you want something very extraordinary this is most likely not the place but you get a solid and good quality experience. Unfortunately the view is ruiner by the remodelling of the dock outside the Grand Hotel.

We had the breakfast buffet every morning of our four-day stay at the Grand Hotel and never tired of the offerings. The cost was part of our package so we were not concerned about the price which seemed to be very high.

With high expectations six of us made reservations for the “Classical Week” at Verandan almost a year in advance. This restaurant is in the grand hotel and has grand prices as you would expect. The food though is of a high quality, but it lacks the atmosphere of a great restaurant. Have been there twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Great service and delicious food! The view is VERY Beautiful with the water and the royal palace.

I have had breakfast at Cadierbaren/Verandan at Grand Hotel before with impressive servive and food. The afternoon today was only enjoyable because of the atmosphere. The tray of different sandwiches, scones and dessert had but 1 or 2 highlights. The "skagen toast" i.e. Shrimp sandwich was not much better than that from Swedish convinience store "Pressbyrån".
