I went there on the recommendation of this web site! Terrible service, average food, outrageous price. They tried to serve us 2 wine bottles that were obviously maderized, arguying that it should be like that. The fish was overcooked. The soup was too salted. The veal was hardly ok.
With only one menu, this is ridiculous

My visit to this restaurant was a true lasting memory. The staff (the chef's wife) were so accomodating and the experience felt like we were being in spoiled at our best friend's house. The food was explained to perfection, only to be suprassed by the flavor. There were so many, "oh my..did you taste that...wow" statements at our table that...

One of our favorite restaurants in Copenhagen is Godt, where my husband and I enjoy going for special occasions. We love the simplicity of not needing to choose from a big menu. Everything the chef prepares is wonderful, and his wife's explanations of the food and the wine are very detailed. It's a pleasure to know that everything has been...

I took my mother, brother, and 11 year old son to Copenhagen as a special pre-Christmas treat, and our dinner at Godt was undoubtedly the highlight. The ambience and the decor are very intimate and as the meal progressed we felt more and more like close friends who had been invited over to share a fabulous meal. My 11-year old,...

Godt is Danish for Good, but this restaurant isn't good, it's excellent!
Only one menu (you can choose 3, 4 or 5 courses) and one wine menu (of which you can limit yourself to 3, 4 or 5). No a la carte, but that is the rigth thing, because in restaurants like these one should go for the well balanced...

Restaurants, we found, in this part of the world tend to be rather expensive, even compared to NYC standards, but we can say this one is truly worth it. Fixed price three course dinner even had a few added surprises; such as a starter and a palate cleansing plate between courses. Our lobster soup dish was only topped by the...

We thought this restaurant had a high standard, instead, we were badly treated and almost degraded because we did not eat pork. The restaurant had no menu and they had already decided what the guests should eate, without first consulting with their guests. The worst part was, however, the female waitress attitude. She barely looked at our direction, did not...

Our last day in Copenhagen, and we could not have spend it in a better way.
Perfect seasonal menu, excellent wines to accompany the food, and the
atmosphere in this tiny friendly family restaurant, was just the perfect end
on our trip to Copenhagen.
Not many places do you find mom and dad with their daughters working side by side,...

Possibly the best meal I have had in Copenhagen in 20 years of visiting!
I booked dinner for 3 through the concierge, and when we got there my dinner companions were concerned at the price since it was going to be charged as a business dinner. The setting of the restaurant is also a little odd as it is a...
