Very friendly owners who served up fresh tasty dishes. Home made fresh warm bred was served. We ate both meat and fish and were not disappointed. Many locals eating and drinking here.
Platanos has great meaton the spit on the weekends. Ilive in Poros and love to go there, away fromthe beaches and roads. The roka salad is lovely- but the Greek old town atmosphere is authentic and so beautiful!
We would definitely visit Poros once more just to live again this fantastic taste experience. The owner is one of the more kind and professional businessmen we have ever met. This restaurant is situated in a really quiet spot under s big plane. Everything we ordered was great but we would absolutely suggest their pork meat and their sausage (the... More
By far the best Taverna in Poros. They have a great 18 Euro deal with 1 * Greek Salad, 2 * plates of food from the daily specials and 1 * 1/2 liter of local cold wine. We stopped looking for something better :)
I visit this superb restaurant every time I visit poros. The meat is fantastic. It can be tricky to find if you don't know it's there but it's a must to try out the typical Greek cuisine. Lovely setting set in the back streets of poros town, it has a lovely atmosphere.
We walked past this taverna on a previous visit to Poros and decided to try it this time. It is up the hill away from the harbour, so no sea views, but situated in a narrow street under a huge plane tree which was an extremely pleasant setting. We first looked at the menu but the staff were not pushy... More
Located in a very atmospheric square the restaurant offers a variety of Greek traditional dishes and grilled meat (souvla). Try the grilled pork, the pasticcio and the white house wine.
My wife and I just had lunch here and enjoyed it. We started with the fried cheese and then had the dinner for two deal for 18euro. It included 1 greek salad, half litre of wine, a generous portion of both mousakka and pastismo for dessert they brought out watermelon. Overall with appetizer it came to 22euro and we were... More
My wife and I had a carafe of the house white wine, stuffed grape leaves for an appetizer, shared a Greek salad and then had the fresh Snapper. All of the food was excellent and the atmosphere could not have been better. It was nice to have Greek music playing rather than the standard American style music that some apparently... More
