After visiting more than 50 different restaurants in Chania - choice can be only one. Popay is the best. Home-style cooking with very good service. Greek gourmet food!

“Best in Chania”

Fantastic home-style cooking and cheap too. Great service: sincere, friendly and attentive. The night after dining here we went to an adjacent restaurant with similar prices: big mistake. Our experience was the polar opposite. After eating and paying we came straight back over to Popay just to feel happy again! It worked!

We have visited many times at Popey and want to recommend. The owner and her daughrer are very friendly and many customers can say: no press, no stress, Many visitors say that they are coming again and again. So de we, too. Satisfied visitors from Finland

“Good food at a nice price”

This is a family-run cafe with sidewalk dining. The food was quite good, and the owner's made us feel quite welcome (unlike some spots in Greece where, once they get you in, you won't get much attention). It's an affordable option to the restaurants situated in the Old Venetian Port, which can be a bit pricey.
