The food were not the best we had in Lisbon, but yet very good. My husband had the "Feijoada de porco preto" and I had the Black Pork steak with fries, rice and spinach pure. It was good! The service were good. The saloon is taken by lots os small tables and you get to sit just side by side... More

Since this restaurant is in various tour books, it gets crowded quickly. The menu (food and prices) is similar to most others, food is fresh and well cooked, but the ambiance is terrible if you want to enjoy the food and company. The service was very efficient, meaning they try to get you out quickly. It's only OK if you... More

Fast and furious - we arrived to an empty restaurant and were quickly served, but were able to watch in amusement as the place rapidly became jam packed and yet the staff were efficient and quick - lost of fresh fish - we took pot luck as we didn't understand the menu - but none of us were disappointed and... We went there just because we read some good reviews but... My girlfriend took their speciality (coelho, rabbit) and it was just full of oil, i took fried octopus and it was as tasty as a piece of rubber. We asked for the bill and we found 2 waters Instead of one and a cheese that we didn't eat, 5... More

We had read about this place in a travel article and saw some reviews and were glad we tried it. It's sort of a small local diner, with tables close together, people in and out, fast moving waiters and a menu that's heavy on seafood. We felt like it was more of a local place, and we liked the idea... More

Fantastic place to sample the real Lisbon. Small and cramped but that adds to the atmosphere. Wonderful local food and amazing staff. Really enjoyed our visit. Without a doubt it's worth a visit. More

I'm glad I went here for my last meal on a weeklong trip to Lisbon, having nearly made the mistake of going to a touristic restaurant a couple of blocks away. Unless you're claustrophobic I couldn't recommend this place more highly - there was a wonderful array of Portuguese dishes, a lively (but cramped) atmosphere, and very cheerful and self-effacing... Serving very good traditional Portuguese food. Not much space but full of character. More

Not a phenomenal restaurant...but a must. Typical portuguese food and mood. Right in the middle of the "bar country". :D More

This was a fantastic local Portugese restaurant. All the menu is in Portugese but there the staff are fab and there is a waiter who speaks English is happy to help. The food was gorgeous, had the local dish of clams and pork, also tried green wine! The atmophere was good, it was cheap and the staff couldn't do enough... More
