Description: Praise there is aplenty for Come Prima, one of Lisbons best-loved traditional Italian restaurants. Being a bit tucked away on Rua Olival, an easy walk from the romantic Tapada das Necessidades gardens, is part of the restaurants considerable charm. A reassuringly cosy atmosphere, lovely lighting, wooden tables and chairs and friendly staff - Come Prima hits all the right notes. Expect wonderfully simple Italian classics - tomato soup to tiramisu - freshly prepared with skill and care. Some diners have said the pasta and pizza are the best theyve ever had. Whats certain is Come Prima hand-make their pasta fresh, and bake their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Nice wine list, too. Ask for a table upstairs where its cosiest.

For working reasons I spent almost two weeks in Lisbon, where a friend told me to go to Come Prima. There, I have always been warmly welcomed and got a table even when the restaurant was quite full. The food is excellent and truely Italian. There is a wide choice and you will never be disappointed. I had pizzas, spaghettis,... More

We went here because of the reviews on TA and it was recommended by our hotel. Though it was a little out of the way, taxis are cheap in Lisbon and it was worth the trip. Excellent Italian food, service and value. Worth the trip!

What more can I say? The food was amazing - we had the salmon lasagna and the black truffle angel hair pasta. The salmon lasagna was incredibly unique and the flavours were delicious. The black truffle angel hair pasta was easily one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The wine was so delicious that we bought two bottles... More

It's a small place, with a great wood-fired oven proeminent behind the counter, and small tables in two floors. The food was very good – we had the typical starter, very good bruschettas, then the three pastas, finally a fabulous tiramisù. The sangria was also very nice, we had to order a second (smallish) jar! :-) The waiter was competent... More

We found this restaurant almost by accident, then almost didn't find it (walked right by it down the hill). After having to walk back up the hill, we weren't in the best of moods, but upon opening the door, it all immediately changed. The atmosphere was fantastic - sweet, well-done, excellently put together. Lovely tables, lovely décor, attentive and knowledgeable... More

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Lisbon. The food was really good and both my boyfriend and I ate everything on our plates! The bruschetta was amazing and so was the pasta. The prices were very reasonable and the quality was fantastic. The service could have been better, otherwise this is a great Italian restaurant.

Called for reservations. Very excited when we got there. The server recommended some wine and brought out some amazing bread and bruschetta. Everything came out in a timely manner with enough time between courses, not feeling rushed or bored. Everything was delicious, from start to finish. After dinner, our server brought us a bottle of Porto Vinha on the house.... More
