We were recommended to this restaurant and wasn't disappointed. Normal Portuguese menu but prices are reasonably and the quality is good. It lacks atmosphere but an enjoyable night.

If you are looking for traditional portuguese food, for unexpensive price at central location in Cascais, you should give a try to apeadeiro. Many locals eat there, the food is good and the service ok.
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. At first I wasn't impressed by the outside or the basic decor inside but I have to say the food and service won both me and my husband over. The staff were very friendly. The food here was of a far higher quality than you get on the touristy strips and was ridiculously...

Not a great atmosphere and the decor is simple - but the food is excellent and knocks the spots off some of the more "touristy" restaurants.
Great appetisers that negate the need for any starters.
Excellent fresh fish and I would also recommend the pork and steak.
Ate here several times during our stay after being disappointed elsewhere in town....

As a restaurant atmosphere, not a Big deal, but the food is good and the price is fair. a couple minutes from downtown.. nice streets to walk although narrow sidewalks
Fish the speciallity here. We were give a range of appetisers to start with that included mushrooms, cheese, peppers, olives and bread. It was like a mini meze which was enough of a starter for the two of us. Excellent value for the food and house wine.
Loved it. Recommended by our hotel. Excellent fresh fish and very knowledgeable and friendly host. They made recommendations and even came out with the fresh catch of the day so we could see just how fresh the options were. I had grilled sea bass - best fish so far. My husband had the grilled steak and it was also excellent....

This is an average restaurant with average food at comfortable prices; service tends to be slow, but friendly. The dining room doesn't have any atmosphere. There are much better choices in Cascais.
