Most reasonable prices and excellent food. If you don't want the starters they automatically bring just say no thank you, it is not a problem if you do not want them and you will not be charged. The cheapest way to buy wine is to ask for a jarro (jug) either 1 litre or half litre (meio litr) good wine... More

Homely atmosphere in this rustic style Portuguese restaurant. Would recommend the superb seafood kebabs which contained very succulent monkfish and good prawns. Friendly staff.

Had a lunch here, they serve half portions which are enough. Fish is so fresh, brought out from a cold compartment with tongs. Don't expect all waiters to speak English. Try to learn the food terms and a bit of Portuguese, I know its not easy, after all we don't expect our waiters in Glasgow to speak Portuguese! The couverts... More

We had lunch here, ordering the salmon and something random from the entirely Portuguese menu of the day, which the waiter would not help translate (the regular menu, however, was in multiple languages). Everything we ordered was excellent and fairly priced. They do automatically serve you several starters, so be sure to have them taken away if you don't want... More

This restaurant is informal and quite rustic in style. The menu offers a good selection of Portuguese specialities with excellent local wines. Prices are reasonable. Locals eat here - not just tourists. It's up a side street & we stumbled across it by accident - but we were glad we did.

Very enjoyable meal enhanced by2 very pleasant and amusing waiters.Lamb chops plentiful, monkfish very well prepared. The only let down is that it took an eternity for them to serve the dishes, otherwise it would have received a five.

If you don't mind sitting on a bench to eat, head for Adega Nova. In fact the bench seating encourages you to chat with fellow diners - which we did. Food was pretty good too. I had scarrab fish, which I'd never heard of, and found it really tasty. My wife has monkfish and prawn kebabs; they were excellent too.

We ate here twice during our 3 night stay in Faro and both times really enjoyed it. Food was lovely, reasonably priced and service was good. Would definitely recommend.

This place is a great restaurant in Faro. Very very cosy and vibrant. The service is good even though it was very busy when i visited this restaurant on a thursday night, almost all tables reserved and the place was packed with local portugese people, which I always take as a sign of good food. We had the grilled shrips... More

Our first restaurant of the stay and a very pleasant surprise. Music a bit loud for my taste but very good service and great food.
