Description: Café Rose Red is a cheery café that is full of character. It is located in the heart of Bruges, a stone's throw from the market. A quiet side street takes you away from the tourist route and spirits you away into an authentic jewel in the town centre of Bruges. Our speciality is Trappist beer; hence we offer all the trappist beers that are recommended all over the world. Come savour this delectable nectar inside the café or on our pleasant terrace.

On a cruise stop I made arrangements for a photography tour of Brugge, which was great by the way, and we ended the tour at Rose Red. There was a break in the weather and we chose to sit in a lovely little courtyard. Although we didn't eat there, the menu looked very interesting and affordable, by Belguim standards. They... More

In our rainy days in Bruges we found the Café Red Rose to be the perfect haven in which to relax, to enjoy wonderful hospitality and service, to nibble on some bread, cheese and pate, and to sample some very fine Belgian beers. We called in both at lunchtime and in the evening and found the different staff to be... More

My boyfriend took here and for someone who doesn't drink beer I wasn't that keen. The thing is that the extensive list of beers there is something for all tastes buds and I was enjoying a beer something I thought I would never say. The staff where amazing, helping me select a beer and paitence aswell. Excellent

My husband and I keep coming back to this place again and again and again ... so I thought it was time for another review. This place is warm, cosy and romantic. The garden is lovely when weather permits. It's the perfect place to relax with a good Trappist beer and a plate of excellent tapas. Be sure to try... More

We have been to Bruges several times and this time decided to try a few more bars than our normal ones, having been reccomended by a friend we gave the red rose cafe a go. It is very pretty inside with roses hanging from the ceiling and has the usual bench and table seating arrangement found in many of the... More

My husband and I had a great experience here recently. He is a very VERY discerning beer drinker and found their selection to be nearly comparable to that of the popular ’t Brugs Beertje, enjoying several hard-to-find bottles of Cantillon. Looking for a quieter evening, we enjoyed the bizarre, romantic atmosphere under the canopy of (silk) roses. Excellent service, too.... More

This really is a great beer place. A perfect place to sample a huge array of beers; probably our favourite place in Bruges! Please note that it does not really do food but bar snacks. There is a large selection of beers and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. If you like beer then this is a must!

Quieter and a little more stylish than some of the pubs with a less bustling atmosphere and soft background music. Beers are slightly more expensive but the staff certainly know their stuff and are more than happy to help with recommendations. Has Westvletern on the menu although admittedly probably only have it in a couple of times a year.

I visited Cafe Rose Red in Bruges this weekend just passed. It's an amazing little place, with an inside bar and outside patio. The decorations, and roses on the ceiling are a nice touch. We ordered the beer taster to start with, which has 4 different beers for 10EUR. I also tried some of their other beers which were great.... More

Dear Nathalie, Thank you for your very kind review! Reading all these compliments puts a smile on all our faces and gives us the motivation to try even harder to give our customers a great experience. We would like to clear one thing up though; we do not add a service charge to the bill. We are wondering what made... More
