I stumbled on this patisserie at lunchtime while walking back to my hotel on the north side of the Markt square. It is on the corner of a small plaza with indoor and outdoor seating. I gambled and had the Steak Tartare with a beer followed by a cream cake to die for! The food was excellent and I returned... More

Perfect place for breakfast, or to buy cakes, pastries and bread. WIt was recommended to us by local people, and we agreed that it was the best bakery in Bruges.

Well worth a leisurely breakfast - laid back, good food and room for little ones. Definitely would go back (even with the hundreds of other choices in Bruges!)

We just enjoyed A very cold but lovely sunday in Brugge and decided to have a cup of hot tea. Place looked nice from outside and we left it without any disappointments: we had delicious slice of cake and lingot d'Or with fruits and a pot of tea each. Staff speaks English. The experience cost us 14 euro. A lovely... More

Delicious and gorgeous daily-changing pastries (particularly recommend the lemon tarte with a tiny baked meringue on top), nice coffee, and good hot-chocolate. The service was friendly too. I would have thought that in the summer it would be a nice place to sit out and people watch. Perhaps the indoor seating could have been a little more comfortable though.

In my opinion, anyway. Why? It's really easy to find (near the Opera, just down the street - Vlamingstraat - from the Markt), it has a nice selection of affordable patisseries, very good coffee and prompt and efficient service. The only drawback is that there are not very many tables inside. In the summer there is nice outside seating under... More

Loved this place so much that we went back for breakfast again the next day! There is a great choice of pastries, cakes and bread and all the pastries we had were delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the tea/latte were good too. The decor is lovely and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place... More
