De La Vigne A L'assiete is a fixture for me when I go to Brussels. Usually, I visit them at least once, whenever I am in town. The owner used to be Belgium's best sommelier and runs a wine trade on the side. He has a lot of excellent wines from little known producers on his menu at very fair... More

Maybe it's the strength of the euro/ weak pound, but thought the menu is quite expensive especially for starters 19E. Went last Friday , not busy, second table to be served but waited ages for starter - 45mins and then over 30 mins for main course. The steak when it arrived was huge practically hung off the plate but then... More

After reading we found this restaurant in a neighbourhood few tourists would ever come. Off the beaten track in brussels. We took the 4 course menu of 40 euro and took a really nice wine. The 2nd dish raviolli with tiger prawns was nothoig less then stellar. I woke up the morging after instantly thinking about this dish, felt instantly... More

Cozy place for either a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The 40 euro menu was well balanced and generous. Wine list pretty varied and international. Attentive service and reasonable pricing.

This place is just great. It's in a small street so you have to know avout it. I tell i spend my birthday there, a great discovery. The service was excellent, every attent and available. The food is well prepared, a very fine cuisine for an excellent budget. I recommend to go there with friends or for a romantic dinner,... More

Far away from the tourist areas this place offers a good quality of food (with average portions), on a very quiet atmosphere and a pleasant “quartier”. The chef makes a big and professional effort in order to manage the menu with the only support of an additional guy. All the preparations are served on time and at the right point... More

Followed a trip advisor recommendation and have to say the restautant was definitley worth the finding. Went with my girlfriend as a romantic meal on a city break - it is a lovely place to eat, the ambience was really good and the waiters very attentive (to the extreme perhaps?) Everything is in French - not unexpected but made choosing... More

I have been looking at the restaurant on-line for a while. Going out with a foodie friend of mine, we are always looking out for a new discovery. We were not disappointed with this restaurant. The décor is actually fine and the seating I found to be comfortable. The gentlemen serving really knew their stuff and we tasted an excellent... More
