Highly recommended! The recommendation was given by Steve at Renaissance Marriott up the street, and he came through. We ate here for breakfast both mornings we were in town. Enjoyed the salad with buffallo cheese and mushroom soup the first time we were there for our stopover so much that we returned on our way back home. This time we had breakfast there and the chorizo and cheese omellette with grilled mushroom was so tasty.

Don't go here if you are in a hurry. The food was very good but the cafe was quite busy and, as such, service was rather slow.

OK -- there are two Greenwoods (this one on the Singel and another on Keizersgracht). We had breakfast on Singel, arriving just before the doors opened and the room filled up fast. We went to Greenwoond filled with promises of beautiful food. We left disappointed.. To start the service wasn't best thing ever and I can't even blame a full house because everyone was served when we arrived and both waiters were pretty much looking at each other. Now the food.. Good breakfast, we both had eggs benedict. You will have to wait outside for a bit for a table, and tables are very close together. Service is on the slow side, so don't go if you are in a rush. It was OK but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again.

We had breakfast there twice, since it was close to our B&B. Hard to find a table but we were lucky both mornings. Great menu with Eggs Benedict, Eggs & Lax etc.
