Description: The Lapin is a family run hotel-restaurant situated in the centre of Lucerne and is one of the city's leading restaurants. It has a cosy, rustic appearance and serves modern European cuisine specialising in regional dishes. The menu offers fish, meat and seafood dishes as well as traditional Swiss Käsespätzli (small dumplings with melted cheese) with chives and pumpkin potato strudel with parsley cream sauce. In addition to the standard menu, the restaurant offers a special every day and extensive 3 to 4 course weekly menus. The speciality of the house are the Ratsherrenspieße (a type of food served en brochette) with various types of meat and vegetables and are served flambéed at your table. Wine lovers can enjoy a selection of international wines to go with their meal. The Lapin also provides a traditional Lucerne setting.

The interior of the Lapin is definitely 'Old Swiss' style. You either like it, or you don't. I don't at least.
But no worries, the food is actually good. If you would like to eat Swiss style food (except for the bratwurst, cheese fondue or raclette), I would advise to go to this place. They have some nice flamed 'spieces/sate's'...

Hi,
Located within Hotel De La Paix and managed by the staff of the hotel is Restaurant Lapin.
The staff are extremely friendly there. Quite helpful in helping one decide and quitre patient as well for newbies like me.
They had a chefs menu going that week. My wife being a vegetarian just had a spinach cream soup. Very nice....

I visited Restaurant Lapin situated within thr Hotel De-La-Paix and have to say it is a gem.The food is superb and with an extensive wine list.It is very popular with the people of Lucerne The service is excellent with a very friendly ambience.
Thoroughly recommended.
