Great on ambience. Cool outside patio. We had a struggle with the language. But if that's not an issue....put this one on your list if you're in the neighborhood. Hotel Sorell Ador just around the corner.

This restaurant claims to be Italian, but the dishes don't even remind Italian cooking. The food is unsatisfactory and the flavors are mixed together without any cooking skill.
I tried many different restaurants in Bern, and I think that you can find excellent food around, but probably Da Carlo was the worst of them all.

Noch einmal waren wir im Da Carlo und wurden rundum verwohnt! Maria, Walty und il Capo Gianni Masullo haben mit Freude und Herzlichkeit ihre Gaste bewirtet und unterhalten.
