A solid trattoria with good Umbrian food and friendly service right in the middle of Assisi. The prices are reasonable and there were many Italians dining, which is a good sign.

Trattoria Pallotta was recommended to me by a local in Assisi. It was so good, I went back twice! Attentive service, really good local wine selection, tasty Umbrian food in good portions, lovely and cozy atmosphere. The chicken pate appetizer was amazingly good.

Right in the centre of Assisi, just off the Piazza dells Commune, la Pallotta is warm and welcoming. The menu gives a good choice of traditional Umbrian food with a few interesting modern twists. Staff are very attentive and the price is very reasonable.

Very cozy and authentic place with amazing food and very kind, friendly staff - right in the main square of Assisi!! Don't miss the triangoli with tartufo and the typical dessert, the rocciata with vanilla cream- so good!! We had a great time in this trattoria - I can highly recommend it!

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our Hotel staff. The service was excellent - recommended a set meal + a meat dish for us to share. The food was better than average and reasonably priced.
